Technicians

Vicki Frawley

Works hard on scheduling staff and ordering supplies to keep our hospital running smoothly as our Head Technician.  She joined the animal hospital shortly after it opened.  She and her husband Matt have 3 dogs; a Boston Terrier named Virgil and 2 English Mastiffs named Big Al and Kiowa.  They also have 2 cats, Cassidy and Groovy.

Theresa Holz

She joined the Muddy Creek Animal Hospital family shortly after it was opened.  Theresa is one of our most knowledgeable technicians.  When she is not keeping our daily operations organized, she enjoys spending time with her children Alyssa and Anthony.  They also have a cat named Gilbert and recently got 2 mix breed pups named Diamond and Beanie.

Ashley Nicholson

Ashley has worked for the hospital since March 2003.    Known as the hospital "Lorax," she implemented a recycling program here.  Ashley also assists Dr. Gray in planning and hosting educational seminars for our community. She spends her spare time making cakes or relaxing with her family, including 3 dogs, a Pitbull, Prudence, a Lab, Buster, and a Mutt, Citgo... 5 cats, Pepperoni, Fanny, Goonie, Tommy, and MauMau... 3 rats, Piper, Billiam, and Sylus (pictured on Ashley's shoulder).  Ashley and her husband Keith added a baby boy to the family just after Thanksgiving 2009.

AnnMarie Anderson

AnnMarie graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor Degree in Facilitated Equine Therapeutics. She started working with us August 2003.  AnnMarie Assists Dr. Gray in a Domitor Antisedan Local Expert (DALE) Program that travels to animal hospitals to educate the veterinary community about multi-modal pain management for surgical patients.  In her spare time she enjoys equestrian sports and spending time with her 3-legged Papillion, Gabby.

Ronnie Smith

She gets here before the sun even wakes up to set up our surgery suites and machinery for the day.  She spends a lot of time at the microscope, making her the "go-to-girl/tech" for any laboratory assistance we may need.  Ronnie's favorite number is 2.  Ronnie has 2 children, Ashley and Mark.  They have 2 Labs, Sonny and Smokey (pictured with Ronnie) and 2 guinea pigs, Rufus and Tucker.  Ronnie also owns 2 race horses.

Jennifer Cobb

She started here about 6 years ago as kennel help and moved up to technician shortly thereafter.  Jenn left us for a period of time to work with the Eastern Veterinary Blood Bank.  Having her back with us has proved to be very helpful in implementing the blood donor program here at our hospital.  She has a Boxer, Ellie Mae, 2 Pitbulls, Chomper and Mader (pictured with Jenn), and a horse named Guinness.  Jenn also adopted 3 ferrets, Conrad, Nancy, and Guillermo, from the local SPCA.

Martha Madrid

Martha is a long time client, now employee.  She dedicates her time to rescuing many animals in need.  Martha has a variety of pets including, dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds.  When she is not at work, she is working hard caring for all of her rescued animals at home.  In what little spare time she has she occasionally enjoys traveling with her husband Dan.

Karla Thornton

Karla first started here as a receptionist, then left for college.  After spending a semester at school in Alabama, she returned to us as a technician. Karla has proved to be a great asset to the technician team. She recently became a certified phlebotomist.  When she is not working or going to school, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Brian and their son, Ryan.

Cheri Collison

Cheri worked at another local animal hospital for 10 years prior to becoming a part of our team.  She comes to us to provide surgical and anesthesia assistance and organization.  She has a lot of knowledge to offer and has been a great addition to our hospital.  Cheri and her husband have 2 dogs named Sunny and Riley.  They also have many cats.

Leticia Oliveira

Leticia comes to us all the way from Brazil.  She is medical graduate from the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Niteroi.  While working towards getting her medical license here in the United States, Leticia is combining her love for animals and medicine by working with us.  She is full of knowledge and a great addition to the team.  When she is not here with us, she loves spending time with her husband and their dachsund, Zuca (pictured).

Matthew Shryock

Matt started here as a intern in June 2009 and is now a full time technician.  He is currently attending school to become a veterinarian.  Matt has 2 beagles, Captain (pictured with Matt) and Doodle, a Shih Tzu named Willie and 2 cats, Gooseberry and Sully.  When he isn't working or studying, Matt enjoys long walks on the beach and sunsets.

Kelly Rinaldi

Kelly has actually been a member of the MCAH team for a few years now.  Recently, she has broadening her horizons on the Technician end of the spectrum.  Her laughter now fills our hallways and she seems to brighten even the gloomiest of days.  Kelly and her husband Mark have 2 children, Matt and Mikki, 2 Shih Tzu's, Candy and Simon, and a cat named Tigger.  When she is not here at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.
