Community Education Seminars

We made 2008 a trial year for something new and exciting.  We wanted to offer various seminars for our clients and community.  Four topics were chosen and offered.  The turn out grew for each seminar.  We hope 2009 will bring in even more curious clients and community members.  Hope to see you there!

Gazebo Dedication In Loving Memmory of Stacey Kay Lummus

On Sunday, June 3rd, Muddy Creek Animal Hospital Honored a beloved friend, family, and team member.  Stacey Kay Lummus will be missed by us all.  We hope this gazebo will allow us to have a peaceful place to look back and reflect on all the good times we shared together.  Memories are what keeps a spirit alive.  Stacey may no longer be with us, but she touched us all and she will never be forgotten.

Career Day at Deale Elementary School

On May 12, 2005 Dr. Haldeman participated in Deale Elementary School's Career Day.  She spoke to three classes of second graders about what it is like to be a veterinarian.  When asked, "Who wants to be a veterinarian?" many hands were raised.  Far fewer hands were raised when she asked, "Who likes to do homework?"  She then explained the extensive amount of school involved in order to become a veterinarian.  The children particularily liked the "Fannie the Flea and Tammy the Tapeworm" parasite presentation and the jars of deceased, but preserved parasites passed around the classroom.
