Vaccine Descriptions 

Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR)

Rhinotracheitis is a highly contagious upper respiratory virus

Calicivirus (C)

Another highly contagious upper respiratory virus

Panleukopenia (P)

Also know as feline Distemper, an often fatal viral disease characterized by bloody diarrhea and vomitng

Leukemia

Suppresses the immune system making it susceptible to many secondary diseases.  Outdoor cats are at a much higher risk of exposure

Rabies

A fatal viral disease affecting the nervous system.  The 1st Rabies vaccine given is good for 1 year and all subsequent rabies vaccines are godo for 3 years. This vaccine is required by Maryland State Law
