Grant Nisson, D.V.M.

Dr. Nisson received his bachelors from the University of Maryland in 1977. He graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. After practicing for several years in California he and his wife Debbie moved back to Maryland to open Muddy Creek Animal Hospital. Dr. Nisson has been voted the area's Best Veterinarian by the readers of Bay Weekly Magazine. He and Debbie have a variety of birds, 3 dogs, William, Lady and Lilly, 2 cats, Jefferson and Billy Joe Joe, a horse named Katie, and 3 miniature donkeys, Cisco Kid, Jose, and Cuervo.


Glenn Gray,  D.V.M

Dr. Gray received his bachelor of zoology from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1985. He graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Dr. Gray has been practicing at Muddy Creek Animal Hospital since March 2001 and became part owner of the hospital in June 2003. His main veterinary field of interest is internal medicine. He also travels throughout the state going to various different animal hospitals to educate them on multi-modal pain management.  Dr. Gray enjoys playing golf, but is currently looking into other hobbies because his golf game has gone down hill. He and his wife, Wendy, have a dog named Fannie Mae and 2 cats named Elroy and Hugo.


Dorian Haldeman, V.M.D.

Dr. Haldeman received her bachelors of biology from the University of Richmond in 1997 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.  She has been practicing at Muddy Creek since July 2001 and has special interest in internal medicine and behavioral medicine. Dr. Haldeman is a certified member of the Penn Hip Improvement Program for the evaluation of dogs for hip dysplasia. When she is not at the animal hospital working, she enjoys competitive sailing, swing dancing, and spending time with her dog, Cassie and her cat, Ally.

 


Lisa Taylor, D.V.M.

Dr. Taylor received a bachelor of science in Zoology from University of Maryland in 1986 and graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990.  Before joining our team, she worked as a small animal veterinarian for Greater Annapolis Veterinary Hospital for almost 15 years.  She has special interests in internal medicine and exotic mammals and reptiles.  In her free time she enjoys running with her Beagle, Lily, and spending time with her daughter, Taylor, and son, Brady.


Linda Ruiz, V.M.D

 

Dr. Ruiz received her bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in 1996 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  She has been practicing in the Annapolis area since graduating and has recently joined the Muddy Creek Animal Hospital family.  She has a special interest in internal medicine and neurology.  In her free time she enjoys the outdoors with their Dalmation, Ripton, and their Beagle, Lucy (pictured on Left).  She also spends time cuddling with her cat, Charlotte.
